Cabinet Painter & Assembler
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability required as needed)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Cabinet Painter & Assembler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet painting, spray painting, and cabinet assembly. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare kitchen cabinets and cabinet components for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Paint kitchen cabinets and other wood products using spray guns to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Apply paints, stains, primers, and protective coatings according to company standards.
- Assemble kitchen cabinets, drawers, doors, and hardware accurately according to specifications.
- Operate impact guns and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform touch-ups and minor repairs when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with production and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
- Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience with wall painting is mandatory.
- Experience operating an impact gun is mandatory.
- Experience using spray guns for painting is required.
- Experience painting kitchen cabinets or other cabinetry is highly preferred.
- Experience assembling cabinets is considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be available to work weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, finishing, or millwork.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
