Part-Time Support Worker Wanted (Female Only)
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and energetic female support worker to assist a friendly 21-year-old woman with Down syndrome who lives in her own home.
Responsibilities include:
- Following an active daily schedule, including walking to local activities.
- Supporting participation in community outings and recreational activities.
- Encouraging development of fine motor and gross motor skills.
- Assisting with academic activities and learning.
- Engaging in crafts, baking, and other enjoyable, skill-building activities.
- Keeping an active lifestyle
- Providing positive encouragement while promoting independence.
Qualifications:
- Patient, caring, and dependable.
- Enjoys working with young adults with developmental disabilities.
- Experience is an asset but not required.
- Female applicants only.
This is a part-time position.
