The Cybersecurity: Prevention and Intervention program empowers professionals to defend digital assets and respond effectively to cyber threats. Through hands-on training and strategic frameworks, participants learn to identify vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and manage incidents with confidence. This program is ideal for those seeking to strengthen organizational resilience and align cybersecurity practices with evolving regulatory and technological landscapes.
Dates of the Fall Semester: August 29th, 2026 – January 19th, 2027. Tuesday/Wednesday 6:30pm – 10:00pm & Saturdays(3 out of 4) 8:30am – 1:30pm.

- Bachelor's or equivalent* degree in Computer Science
- Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered
- Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industry experience
- Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- Excellent English communication skills essential
- Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.

THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CYBERSECURITY: PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION
- Cybersecurity certification such as, but not limited to, CISSP, CCSP, CEH, GSEC, GISP, CompTIA Security+, OR, 3 years industry experience as a cybersecurity specialist. REQUIRED.
- Networking/Cloud certification such as, but not limited to, CCNA, Cisco security certifications, or vendor-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). PREFERRED.
- Experience teaching at the post secondary level. PREFERRED.
N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
