BelMind Therapeia is not just another therapy clinic. We are building and nourishing a mental health culture that is human, compassionate, and intentional, grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. We're expanding our Thunder Bay roster and looking for clinicians who bring both skill and genuine care to their work with clients.
This is an independent contractor position, giving you the flexibility to build a caseload and schedule that works for your practice goals. You'll benefit from the infrastructure, referrals, and community BelMind Therapeia provides.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities, including EMDR and trauma-focused approaches
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Maintain clinical documentation using Jane practice management software
- Set your own hours and caseload, in-person, hybrid, or virtual
- Participate in optional case consultation and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW/MSW), in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Professional liability insurance in good standing
- Experience and training in trauma-informed care; EMDR training is an asset
- Strong clinical judgment paired with genuine empathy for clients
- Comfort working independently while staying connected to a collaborative community of practitioners
