Overview
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and possess a strong understanding of construction site safety and equipment maintenance. This role involves requiring precise maneuvering and operation of skid steers amongst other heavy machinery. Must be able to run Foot Control Skid Steer.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers efficiently and safely on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Perform tasks involving handling material & loading trucks
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with team members and operate equipment within safety guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction site regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating skid steers in a construction or heavy equipment environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of safety standards in construction settings
- Valid driver’s license preferred; commercial driving experience is advantageous
- Must have own transportation to work
- Prior experience with loading trucks is a requirement
- Must be able to operate Foot Control Skid Steer
