Office Clerk
The Position
Seaboard Industrial Supply Company Limited is looking for a full time, self- motivated Office Clerk. Responsible for providing superior customer service and a positive attitude, the position will preform administrative tasks and clerical duties and help all departments. Knowledge of excel, work, and power point an asset.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service (responding to order inquiries, general inquiries and create sales orders and running front-counter sales)
- Administrative duties (reporting, filing, updating PUC, collecting certifications, asset inventory, etc.)
- Inventory (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, year-end, etc.)
- Execute other office duties including accounts payable duties and people tasks such as payroll duties, recruitment duties, building and updating personnel files.
- Data entry, including budget sensitive entries, weekly entry and period-end reconciliation.
- Assisting with seasonal recruitment
- Conduct operation and reporting on the certified truck scale.
Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- Capable of working extended hours during peak season
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Familiar with working with operations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
