Traffic Dispatch/ TMP Coordinator
Location: Kelowna, BC (Hybrid)
Pay: $26.00–$29.00 per hour
Position Overview
Community Traffic Control is seeking an experienced and highly organized Traffic Dispatch/TMP Coordinator to join our growing team.
This position is responsible for coordinating daily traffic control operations, dispatching crews and equipment, developing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), and supporting project delivery from start to finish. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and brings previous experience within the traffic control industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch traffic control personnel, vehicles, and equipment to project sites
- Prepare, review, and maintain Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Create professional traffic control plans using Invarion software
- Coordinate project schedules and allocate resources to meet client requirements
- Communicate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and internal teams regarding project updates and scheduling
- Prepare work orders, project documentation, permits, and supporting records
- Monitor project timelines and respond to changing operational requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling, project, and operational records
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications Required
- Experience working in the traffic control industry
- Experience preparing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Proficiency using Invarion software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Assets
- Dispatch or scheduling experience
- Knowledge of BC traffic control regulations and industry standards
- Experience working with municipalities, utility contractors, or highway projects
- Previous experience in project coordination or operations
