Duties
- Greet and serve customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Prepare and assist in food preparation, including assembling dishes and maintaining presentation standards
- Cook various Japanese menu items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Handle food with care to meet food safety standards and prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen workspace
- Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Assist in meal assembly and plating for dine-in or take-out orders
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols
- Support team members during busy hours to maintain efficient service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or kitchen work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, especially related to Japanese cuisine, is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is preferred
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
