Job Summary
MGV Concrete Finishing seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Foreman to oversee and coordinate concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive concrete experience, and hands on knowledge in the concrete industry. As a Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for assisting/being hands-on and supervising onsite activities, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver successful project outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to lead teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to high-quality concrete projects.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the concrete crew, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints and concrete plans to guide onsite operations
- Oversee the mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete in accordance with specifications and safety standards
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure concrete work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Manage project budgets by tracking materials, labor costs, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols among team members
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and maintain project progress
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members to promote skill development and teamwork
Experience
- Extensive concrete experience with a solid understanding of concrete work processes
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading for foundations and flat work
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
**Must possess a valid drivers license

**Competitive wage
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
