Virtual Guard is seeking a competitive Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. This specialized sales professional is responsible for promoting and selling Virtual Guard services and technology to commercial prospects, leveraging relationships and closing new business while at all times maximizing customer satisfaction and ensuring customer retention.
The successful salesperson will work company leads, source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve personal and company growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with potential clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of our security services.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience, strong ambition, even stronger integrity, and a winning personality that can build lasting relationships and close deals. Experience with HOA and condos, access control and camera surveillance systems is preferred but not critical.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, create proposals, meet with prospects and close deals
- Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long lasting relationships
- Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities. Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet the customers' expectations
- Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized VG procedures
- Conduct post installation follow-up by contacting customer, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service
- Maintain and expand client database.
Travel for expos and leads.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services.
- Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven business to business sales experience
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- BA/BS degree preferred or minimum 3 years sales experience
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required
