Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. Duties
- Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, coloring, and styling services
- Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in workstations and tools
- Engage clients with product recommendations and upselling of retail items
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling and client check-in/out
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by communicating effectively with clients and team members
- Support the salon’s daily operations by handling retail sales and promotional activities
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus, but a strong desire to learn is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
