Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and drink options
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
