Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Immigration Case Processor and Client Service Specialist to join our Vancouver office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing Canadian immigration applications, communicating with clients, collecting and reviewing supporting documents, monitoring application progress and providing professional client service throughout the case process.
An RCIC licence is preferred but is not required. Candidates without an RCIC licence will work under the direction and final review of a licensed immigration consultant.
Job Responsibilities
· Prepare and process Canadian immigration applications, including permanent residence and temporary residence applications.
· Handle Express Entry, family sponsorship, Provincial Nominee Program, work permit, study permit, visitor visa, LMIA-related and other immigration cases according to experience and business needs.
· Collect, review and organize client information and supporting documents.
· Complete immigration application forms, document checklists, submission packages and online applications accurately and efficiently.
· Review client documents for completeness, consistency and compliance with application requirements.
· Identify missing documents, inconsistencies, potential concerns and approaching deadlines, and report them to the supervising immigration consultant.
· Communicate with clients regularly regarding document requirements, case progress, outstanding information and procedural next steps.
· Provide professional, patient and timely client service throughout the application process.
· Monitor application deadlines, document expiry dates, IRCC correspondence and application updates.
· Assist with responses to additional document requests and other government correspondence under the direction of the supervising immigration consultant.
· Maintain complete and accurate electronic case files, client records, internal notes and communication records.
· Collaborate with immigration consultants and other team members to ensure applications are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
· Stay informed of relevant updates from IRCC, CICC and provincial immigration authorities.
· Protect confidential client information and follow company privacy and document-management procedures.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or relevant post-secondary education is preferred.
· Minimum two years of Canadian immigration case-processing experience is preferred.
· Experience processing Express Entry and family sponsorship applications is strongly preferred.
· Experience with permanent residence and temporary residence applications, including PNP, work permits, study permits, visitor visas and LMIA-related applications, is an asset.
· RCIC licence is preferred but is not required.
· Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration application procedures, IRCC forms, document requirements and online submission portals.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify missing information or inconsistencies in client documents.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
· Friendly, patient and professional, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficient in Mandarin and English. Cantonese is an asset.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PDF document preparation and online case-management systems.
· Strong policy research and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with Canadian living environments and culture.
· Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
