Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team WEEKEND ONLY. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, ensure cleanliness standards are met, and assist in delivering excellent hospitality experiences to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
- Support the kitchen team in food handling and storage procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and prep stations
- Ensure all food service areas are sanitized and organized before, during, and after shifts
- Assist with general hospitality duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Hospitality experience or hotel background is a plus but not required
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
