Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to ensuring the safety of the premises.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure security protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to theft or other criminal activities.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while adhering to established protocols.
