Schedule: Approximately six hours per week on Thursday or Friday, weather permitting. An additional six hour workday will be available intermittently, depending on workload and seasonal projects.

We will also soon be installing native BC plant garden beds as part of our expanding services.
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced person to assist with weekly lawn mowing and yard maintenance.
Applicants must have at least one year of practical lawn maintenance experience, with two years preferred. Solid experience using a line trimmer is required, including vertical edging along sidewalks, driveways and garden bed edges. This position requires someone who can produce clean, precise results without basic line trimming or edging training.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, pays close attention to detail and can work independently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lawn mowing using electric mowers
- Line trimming around fences, garden beds, trees and other obstacles
- Vertical edging along sidewalks, driveways and lawn borders using a line trimmer
- Occasional yard cleanups
- Assisting with native BC plant garden bed installations as this service is introduced
- Driving between job sites in North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Vancouver using a company vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of one year of lawn maintenance experience, with two years preferred
- Solid experience with lawn mowing, line trimming and vertical edging
- Ability to produce clean, even and precise results
- Experience using lawn maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Willingness to follow Yard Surgeons’ quality lawn care practices
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Compensation
$26.50 per hour, depending on experience.
