Responsibilities:
- Weld structures, inserts, pipe spools, flanges, hangers, etc. in a variety of positions using different welding processes
- Ensure compliance with shipbuilding quality and safety standards
- Meet all the qualifications of a Journeyperson Welder
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a shipbuilding or related industry.
- Red Seal Endorsement or Level A certification.
- CWB 47.1 SMAW & FCAW qualifications for all positions.
- BCSA PWP 7 and PWP 10 Qualification (or ASME equivalent) with proof of prolongation of process within the last 6 months.
- Ability to pass weld tests for structure and pipe.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Pay Rate: $52.05-$56.69 depending on skillset with additional $ for pension, welfare and training.
On-site 5 days per week in Victoria, BC
