You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a (6-month) fixed-term contract, Geek Squad Counter Intelligence Agent. As a Counter Intelligence Agent, you will be part of a collaborative team that works together to provide support to stores and customers through repair and diagnostics.
Availability Requirement
You must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours a week. Weekend flexibility is preferred.
As a Counter Intelligence Agent, your responsibilities are:
Repairs
-
Using service manuals, service packages, diagrams and vendors websites to accurately test, diagnose and repair defective products

Install parts required for the repair in a timely manner from the appropriate sources and return defective parts to the parts group for return to the vendor
Quality Control

Full functionality test and administration review of repairs being completed at GSC
-
Providing follow up on precinct inquiries, escalations and estimates
-
Providing internal solutions and support for GSC repairs
Administration
-
Complete all paperwork and documentation thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner

Accurately enter appropriate data into the computer system as required
Required Skills and Experience:
-
Experience in diagnostics and repair of consumer computer products
-
Some lifting required (up to 50lbs)

Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong command of English language

Team player in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Computer electronics diploma, computer studies or a combination of relevant training and experience
-
Multi-brand training certificates and manufacturer authorization is considered an asset

A+ and/ or Apple Certification is an asset
What we are looking for:

Experience as a GSC or in store Agent and/or experience in diagnostics and repair of consumer computer products including laptops, desktops, All-In-One computers and tablets)

Strong written communication/customer service skills

Ability to multi-task and deliver solutions with minimal supervision

Experience ordering parts and knowledge of Smart Parts inventory is an asset

Proven reliability, decision making and problem-solving skills

Base pay range
Hourly pay rate: $19.80 - $20.54
