Skills:
- Ability to interpret customer drawings, technical specifications and quality assurance standards
- Strong understanding of GD&T and machine shop techniques.
- Use a variety of inspection equipment to inspect parts/gages/fixtures and determine compliance
- Prior experience in a CNC machine shop an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
Responsibilities to Include:
- Inspecting completed parts, compare to requirements, and measure/document dimensional results
- Participating in the calibration of gages and equipment
- Participating in the non-conformance deficiency management process
- Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or quality department or prior 5+ machining experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
