Responsibilities
- Repair and mend garments with precision, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Alter clothing items to fit customer specifications or company requirements
- Inspect garments for defects or damages and determine appropriate repair methods
- Operate sewing machines and hand-sew as needed for various mending tasks
- Maintain organized workstations and keep track of completed repairs
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress or special instructions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for measuring and sizing garments accurately
- Prior experience in sewing, garment repair, or alterations are required
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Customer service experience is a plus, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in client interactions
