Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Meal assembly and plating for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with serving or working in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies
- Ability to remain calm under the intense pressure cooking lines may bring

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
