- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or occupational health teams to coordinate care when necessary.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Skilled in patient assessment to identify areas of tension, pain points, and treatment needs.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and expected outcomes.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and med spa environments is preferred.
