We are supporting our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, in the search for an Aircraft Loads Engineer based in Montreal, QC or Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
Perform simulations and analyses to support aircraft design loads and continued airworthiness activities.
Develop and maintain low- and high-fidelity loads models.
Enhance automated tools and frameworks for loads analysis.
Support nonlinear actuator modeling for Transport Canada certification.
Utilize commercial and in-house simulation tools, including 6-DOF aircraft simulators.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Aerospace industry experience in loads analysis and nonlinear modeling.
Strong programming skills in C++, Fortran, MATLAB, and Python.
Knowledge of scientific computing, HPC environments, and Git.
Understanding of flight dynamics, aeroelasticity, flutter/LCO, and unsteady aerodynamics.
Experience with Nastran, fly-by-wire systems, and control law integration.
Familiarity with certification requirements and airworthiness regulations.
