Job Title: Senior Release Train Engineer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Release Train Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale Agile Release Trains and support enterprise delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile Release Trains supporting enterprise transformation programs.
- Facilitate PI Planning and program-level coordination activities.
- Support modernization, compliance, and regulatory initiatives.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams and business units.
- Partner with leadership to improve Agile maturity and delivery performance.
- Drive customer, citizen, and patient-focused service improvements.
- Resolve complex dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Support governance, reporting, and executive stakeholder communications.
- Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile practitioners.
- Champion continuous improvement across delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Release Train Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale Agile Release Trains.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Strong SAFe and Agile delivery expertise.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Experience managing large-scale dependencies and delivery risks.
- SAFe RTE or equivalent certification preferred.
