Our Client:
A well-established organization is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while supporting the organization's day-to-day accounting operations and month-end reporting.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
- Perform full-cycle accounting duties.

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.

Support financial reporting and audit requirements.

Prepare bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist with regulatory filings and various accounting projects.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Support continuous process improvements and other ad hoc accounting responsibilities.
Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.

Experience using an ERP system (Oracle experience is considered a strong asset).

Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

CPA designation or enrollment is considered an asset.
