Job Summary
We are hiring for a hybrid position that combines supervised visitation services with direct crisis support for youth. This role involves working closely with children, adolescents, and families to ensure safety, stability, and emotional well-being.
As part of our team, you will supervise court-ordered visitation sessions between children and their non-custodial parents, ensuring a safe, neutral, and supportive environment. In addition, you will provide direct support to youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, or situational crises, helping them develop coping strategies, build resilience, and access appropriate resources.
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about child welfare, trauma-informed care, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable youth and families.
Duties
- Provide supervision during parent-child visitation sessions in a safe, structured, and professional manner.
- Offer direct support to children and adolescents, promoting their well-being and positive development.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational and enrichment programs tailored to meet the needs of youth.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, ensuring accommodations for youth with disabilities.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social skills, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Monitor behavior, provide guidance, and help youth resolve interpersonal conflicts or emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, caseworkers, and other professionals to support youth development.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for each youth, including visitation logs and progress notes.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in a social services, education, or community setting.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Strong communication, observational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Preferred but not required: Degree or certification in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Transportation is a requirement in this position as the applicant will be required to transport themselves and the clients.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
