Job Summary
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the parts department. This role ensures timely shipping, receiving, and put away of parts, while coordinating service requests to support efficient workflow, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards.
The ideal candidate will manage parts inventory, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure seamless order fulfillment. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes, including shipping, receiving, and materials management. The Parts Coordinator will play a vital role in optimizing inventory levels, supporting process improvements, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Duties
- Pick and ship parts order
- Receive, organize and maintain parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability..
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding parts inquiries, ETAs, and status updates.
- Label, organize, and maintain parts storage areas.
- Communicate with the sales team and service team to ensure timely completion of jobs..
- Operate forklifts and assist with packaging as needed to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all warehouse activities including shipping & receiving.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, materials management, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in parts coordination, or related administrative role (Refrigeration experience preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP software, or MS Office.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to adapt quickly to process improvements within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and move parts as required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Inventory control experience is preferred.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
