Eighth Cannabis
We are looking for a Contract Part-Time Budtender to join our team and act as a friendly, knowledgeable cannabis sales associate in our community retail store. Our Budtenders are passionate about learning and discovering all that is new in this growing industry.
This position requires someone who can provide exceptional customer service and become the go-to expert on cannabis products for our customers. Responsibilities include checking ID, completing sales transactions, restocking inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, performing inventory audits, and helping customers select the right products for their needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Valid CannSell certification and background check required before starting
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of retail cannabis is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations related to the cannabis industry, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
- Must have a reliable transportation and cell phone
Eighth Cannabis is a legal, AGCO-regulated recreational cannabis retailer.
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
