What this job involves:
JLL is seeking a Leasing and Asset Management Analyst to work closely with the Director of Asset Management and VP of Leasing for one of our prominent clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the office asset class through in-depth analysis spanning both leasing and asset management functions. We'll rely on your advanced Excel and analytical skills to deliver insightful reporting and drive portfolio strategy forward.
You'll contribute to high-impact projects that shape our Commercial Real Estate portfolio by collaborating with seasoned industry professionals and bringing fresh perspectives to innovative teams. Our structured program balances meaningful professional development with dynamic real-world experience.
This role is based out of JLL's Corporate office in Toronto.
What your day-to-day will look like:Lease Administration:
Manage end-to-end deal tracking process
Maintain organized lease filing systems
Prepare net effective rent (NER) analyses
Develop lease recommendations
Assist with lease documentation preparation
Support lease reporting
Coordinate broker interactions
Assist with lease RFPs for properties outside TDAM portfolio
Asset Management:
Oversee Beacon system management (Portfolio Dashboard and hub for information)
Produce regular reporting and conduct analysis across the portfolio on leasing, financials, capital, and portfolio
Help to forge the portfolio strategy and help executing projects and ideas
Oversee capital execution
Oversee the budget process
Perform quarterly valuation of the portfolio
Ad-hoc analysis
Required Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in real estate leasing/asset management
Highly proficient in Excel and real estate analysis and terminology
Experience calculating NER’s, proformas, valuation metrics
Argus experience is preferred·
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Real Estate or MBA is preferred
