Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise. Your mechanical knowledge and experience will allow you to effectively communicate service recommendations, upsell additional services, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to build trust with customers.
- Manage service appointments and follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of service orders.
- Collaborate with technicians to relay customer concerns and service recommendations effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to promote a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience is necessary.
- Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is essential for effective communication with customers.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales experience, particularly in an automotive context, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
