Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ- Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of freight handling, and experience with heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ-class commercial trucks over long-haul routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Ensure loads are properly secured and balanced
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Keep the truck clean and in good condition
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to minimize downtime
- Comply with all company policies regarding safety procedures and operational standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience required
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul routes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of ELD and HOS for Canada/USA
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently on long trips

Pay: $5,500.00-$6,000.00 per month
