ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Helper to join our warehouse and delivery team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced furniture environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are key.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in organization, and is willing to step in wherever needed to support both warehouse operations and deliveries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Shipping & Receiving
- Unload incoming furniture shipments safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for damage and verify shipment accuracy
- Organize and store inventory within the warehouse
2. Order Preparation & Customer Pickups
- Pick and stage customer orders for delivery or pickup
- Ensure all items are clean, complete, and damage-free
- Assist customers during pickups in a professional and helpful manner
3. Delivery Support
- Assist with local furniture deliveries, including loading, unloading, and setup
- Work alongside drivers to complete deliveries efficiently
- Opportunity to grow into a delivery driver role over time
4. Showroom Support
- Move and arrange furniture on the showroom floor as needed
- Support the sales team with locating products and checking availability
5. Equipment & Tools
- Safely use pallet jacks, dollies, and basic tools
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal
6. Warehouse Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse (sweeping, garbage, recycling)
- Support general upkeep including washing vehicles and maintaining loading areas
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture on a regular basis
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Detail-oriented when handling and preparing products
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract is considered an asset.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is considered an asset.
- Experience using basic tools and equipment is considered an asset.
