Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service operations. The successful candidate will oversee the service department, manage technicians, support dealers and customers, and ensure the highest level of after-sales service. This leadership role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department.
- Lead, mentor, and support service technicians.
- Coordinate field service schedules and technician assignments.
- Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure timely resolution of warranty claims and service issues.
- Monitor service performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage service inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to support customers.
- Develop service procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in service management, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or related industries.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as required.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery is considered a strong asset.
