A pro press technician will be in charge of:
- file intake and cataloguing
- facilitating jobs with clients
- pre flighting files for print
- proofing
- art design
- printer production and maintenance
- file correction/colour management
- workflow management and collaboration with finishing staff
Assets:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in graphic design or a related field is preferred
- Experience as a prepress technician or similar discipline preferred
- Proficiency in pre-press software and design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of printing processes, color management, and file preparation
- Familiarity with computer-to-plate (CTP) technology
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- able to carry 50lbs
