Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lead Septic Technician-Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining septic pumping equipment, ensuring timely and efficient service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive company vehicles, including septic pumping trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on septic pumping equipment.
- Pump and dispose of septic waste from residential and commercial properties according to established procedures and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address questions, explain services, and provide recommendations for septic system maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure safe handling and disposal of septic waste.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of work vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's DZ license with a clear driving record
- Proven experience as a septic technician, plumber, or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to lift 50-60lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical demands of the job.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to septic systems and waste management.
