Typical Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all provincial and federal regulations.
- Complete local, regional, or dedicated route deliveries and pickups.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Secure loads and ensure cargo is transported safely.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations teams.
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
AZ Drivers
- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence.
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract.
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements.
DZ Drivers
- Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles in delivery, construction, waste management, or transportation environments preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Local, regional, or highway driving experience.
- Experience with manual transmissions (where applicable).
- Flatbed, tanker, roll-off, dump truck, or delivery experience considered an asset.
- Forklift certification or material handling experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) is preferred.
