About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck and Transport Mechanic with Red Seal and Commercial Vehicle Inspector (CVIP) Certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, box trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles.
Full-Time or Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove and replace mechanical components (such as radiators, axles, suspensions, cooling systems, and more) as part of collision and insurance-related repairs, including work performed under ICBC and private claims.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy-duty trucks.
- Collaborate with other technicians and shop managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a wide range of heavy-duty trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Conduct safety and CVIP inspections (if certified).
Qualifications
- Heavy Truck & Transport Red Seal
- Commercial Vehicle Inspector (CVIP) Certification (Asset)
- Minimum 3+ years experience working on heavy-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Experience:
- Heavy Truck Repair: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- Red Seal Journeyman Certificate (preferred)
