We are seeking a highly organized and professional Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, terminations, and general administrative support. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
Human Resources Functions
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including posting job advertisements, screening applicants, conducting interviews, reference checks, and onboarding new employees.
- Facilitate employee orientation and onboarding programs.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits and leave programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment standards, company policies, and applicable legislation.
Discipline and Terminations
- Prepare and administer disciplinary documentation, including verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions, and performance improvement plans.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings and investigations.
- Coordinate employee terminations, resignations, and exit interviews.
- Ensure all disciplinary and termination processes are conducted professionally and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Administrative Duties
- Answer and direct incoming calls on the main office line.
- Monitor and respond to general company email inquiries.
- Maintain confidential employee and organizational records.
- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation.
- Support payroll and scheduling administration as required.
- Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment standards and workplace legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
