Qualifications:
- Experience in retirement living is an asset.
- Current license with the Ontario College of Nurses in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience with medication administration.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and nursing diagnoses.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations/practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing a budget.
- Healthcare/hospitality experience and empathy for seniors (asset)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Wellness to lead and oversee wellness programs within our healthcare facility. This leadership role is vital in promoting holistic health, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing wellness initiatives across various care settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive experience in senior and patient care, and a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our residents and patients.
Pay: $65,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
