Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
- Assist in kitchen tasks such as food prep, stocking supplies, and supporting team members during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work well in a team, stay organized, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen roles is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
