Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety standards
- Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending as required
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
