Description
Our client is seeking a 3rd–5th year Electrical Apprentice with ICI experience to support a range of activities related to the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. This role involves both demolition and installation of electrical wiring and conduit within commercial environments. All work will be performed within the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sector. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented. The objective is to efficiently install various electrical components, including conduit, wiring, feeders/distribution systems, fire alarm systems, lighting, and controls, while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities: Candidates must be able to do EMT work (type of metal conduit (pipe) used in electrical installations to protect and route wires.) Experienced with performing rough-ins (will be specifically doing rough ins for security cameras, card readers and auto door operators) Interpret and execute electrical wiring plans for commercial projects Install electrical systems, including conduit and wiring, in building structures Set up circuit breaker panels, switches, resistors, generators, and other electrical equipment Install fire alarm systems and wiring in compliance with applicable codes and specifications
