COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
(Full-Time)
Term to June 30, 2026 with the possibility of an extension
Yellowknife Education District No. 1 is a public educational district serving 2100 students across 6 schools in Yellowknife, NT. We are looking for a computer technician/network administrator to support the needs of end users in a very diverse technology environment.
Qualifications:
the ability to prioritize end user experience
the ability to effectively troubleshoot problems
is organized and self-motivated
Preference will be given to the applicants with the following:
a degree, certification or related work experience in computing technology
experience working with a virtual network and in a virtual environment
experience supporting and maintaining hardware existing in mobile, desktop, & cloud environments
operating systems knowledge, ie. Windows 11, ChromeOS, Android
basic networking in wired LAN/WAN and wireless environments
