What's Good Wellness is a healing environment that supports the recovery and maintenance of health & wellness to the people of the Oakville and surrounding communities.
We’re looking for TWO Patient Care Coordinators/Technicians to support a busy, multifaceted, patient-centered integrative medicine clinic. What's Good Wellness is a rewarding and positive place to work.
The ideal candidate loves to smile, laugh, socialize with patients and make them feel like the only person in the room. You should be a skilled and adaptable problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, quick learner and flexible to adjust. The ideal candidate is autonomous, can follow directions with ease and might be considered a jack or jill of all trades who can wear many hats, and will be an integral part of the team as we help people find their way toward health and wellness. You will be the patient’s first and last contact, setting up treatment rooms with equipment and materials, hands on patient care with minimal integrative technology, document patient progress with accurate record-keeping and whatever else they may need.
Job responsibilities include:
- Greet and direct patients to their treatment room upon their arrival to the clinic.
- Administer patient treatment protocols (aside from needling) accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient comfort and safety, as well as a positive clinic experience.
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to patient appointments, maintaining proper cleanliness, following sanitization procedures, and restocking clinical supplies throughout the day.
- Conduct sensory examinations and communicate findings to the practitioner.
- Document patient interactions, treatments notes, and clinic procedures in an organized and careful manner.
- Build strong patient relationships and foster a safe, trusting, and positive environment through compassionate and professional care.
- Adhere to safety protocols (e.g., conducting a physical body scan when pulling needles).
- Attend occasional What’s Good outreach community events as a representative of the clinic.
- Collaborate with the patient care technician team to develop content ideas, educational materials, and promotional campaigns for social media platforms.
We have a weekday, daytime schedule with the major holidays off and only the rare weekend commitment when we run events. After passing the probation period you will be eligible to receive health benefits and full-time hours.
If you are concerned or feel you don’t have the qualifications, apply anyway!
We don’t hire off keywords.
We hire real living people who are authentic, resourceful, outgoing and ready to commit to our mission of providing patient-centred care in bridging ancient wisdom with modern science.
