We currently have an opening for a Gun Drill Mechanic on a full-time permanent basis. The Gun Drill Mechanic will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Demonstrated experience in machining environment
- Millwright experience an asset
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics experience an asset
- 3rd or 4th year Millwright Apprentice an asset
Essential Functions:
- Sharpening Gun Drills
- Machine changeovers
- Reamer changeovers
- Broach changeovers
- Maintain low scrap levels
- Full mechanical repair including but not limited to replacement of bearings and shafts
- Ability to mechanically troubleshoot
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Direct support to Gun Drillers to maintain production targets
- Maintain proper tooling inventory
