Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential settings, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents and guests. This role requires strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and neatly presented.
- Organize and declutter spaces to enhance the overall appearance of the home.
- Communicate effectively with residents to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Prepare simple meals as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or hospitality settings is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent time management abilities to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Basic cooking skills are desirable for meal preparation tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
