Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and supporting the overall merchandising and sales operations within our store. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and knowledge of building supplies would be an asset.
Duties
- Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide product information related to building supplies
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Handle customer questions
- Support the store’s visual presentation by maintaining cleanliness and organization
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, and inventory management would be an asset
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently
- Good organizational skills to manage stock levels and store presentation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$26.27 per hour
