We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in technology sales and interested in enterprise software and digital solutions. Candidates with exposure to or experience in selling SAP solutions will have an added advantage.
The role focuses on lead generation, customer engagement, supporting the sales cycle, and promoting software solutions and services to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Reach out to prospective clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Understand client requirements and assist in positioning software and SAP solutions.
- Coordinate with pre-sales and technical teams for demos, proposals, and client discussions.
- Maintain and update lead and opportunity data in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking activities to generate leads.
- Follow up with prospects and support the sales pipeline management process.
- Learn and stay updated on software industry trends, SAP solutions, and market developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in software sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident, energetic, and comfortable speaking with clients.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in software sales.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of CRM tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to selling SAP solutions/services is beneficial.
- Exposure to ERP, SaaS, cloud solutions, or IT services sales is an advantage.
- MBA, BBA, Business, Marketing, or IT-related educational background preferred.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and lead generation activities is a plus.
