Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with warehouse operations, assembly, or the use of hand and power tools is highly desirable. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards and supporting overall manufacturing productivity.
Duties
- Operate various manufacturing machinery according to safety protocols and production schedules
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment for setup and adjustments
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed
- Monitor machine operations for any irregularities or malfunctions and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with quality control checks throughout the production process
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively
- Experience operating forklifts, hand tools, and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, or instructions related to machinery operation
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and logistics
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are met
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
