Compensation: Fee-for-Service (FFS) | Split to be discussed directly with Head Doctor / Clinic Owner
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician / General Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations across our clinic locations, with our primary hub based in Scarborough. Your expertise will help promote wellness, manage acute and chronic conditions, and support patients across all ages, from pediatrics to seniors. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations using medical terminology and clinical best practices.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
- Manage medication administration, pain management protocols, and follow-up care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coordinate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams, utilizing OSCAR Pro EMR for seamless data collection, workflow efficiency, and documentation.
- Provide pediatric care for children, including immunizations, developmental assessments, and family counseling.
- Participate in clinic quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices and patient safety.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications to foster long-term wellness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Active and independent license to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Certification: Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or equivalent.
- Tech Skills: Experience with, or a strong willingness to utilize, OSCAR Pro EMR.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and data collection techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in pain management strategies and pediatric patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinic team.
- Prior hospital experience or a background in acute care settings is considered a strong bonus.
